Everyone remembers the magically haunting art of Stephen Gammell from Alvin Schwartz's "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" series of books from the 90s. This Compilation is my homage to the images that captivated me as a little kid. The images I chose to include are my favorites, with my two absolute favorites being the girl with the spiders on her face and the freakishly pale woman with the long face to her left.
Let me know if you'd like an 11x17" printout of this.
The stories wernt scary in the least but the artwork..... I still love the illustrations just like I did as a child! When I was a child, reading those books in a heavily religious school and neighborhood provided some of the best memories of my life HAHA
Those Books used the crap out of me, the pics helped. Gotta say this is kinda awesome
